Marshall Kurt White, died Thursday December 14, 2018. He attended the UK College of Education’s Training School and University High School. With degrees from the University of Kentucky and the University of Virginia, he was a speech therapist for the school systems of Bourbon County and Ashland, KY. For many years after retirement he was a cheerful early morning presence on the indoor track of the Lexington Athletic Club, where he frequently set the track direction for the day. A lifelong member of the Second Presbyterian Church, he was the son of Martin White and Dorritt Stumberg White and brother to Dorritt White Redding. He is survived by his nephew Marshall Reinsdorf of Falls Church, VA. Burial will be in Lexington Cemetery, Lexington, Kentucky.
