Agnes' mother died from complications from childbirth on April 18, 1899 when Agnes was still a toddler. Her father, Martin, could not care for her and her two young sisters and they were taken in by other family until he remarried in 1900 to Sadie Boyer. Agnes' mother's sister, Mrs. Maud (Logan) Benson was caring for her in 1900 at the farm of her father-in-law in Allison, Iowa. Agnes is once again living with her two sisters, step-mother, and half-siblings in the 1910 Federal Census. Agnes married Archibald MacNabb (McNab) on November 4, 1915. He died suddenly from a heart condition on August 15, 1927. She and Arch had two sons Malcolm and LeRoy. She was remarried to her sister's , widower Clarence A. Beck on Sept 1, 1934 in Minehaha, MN. He passed away suddenly from a heart attack on November 28 , 1942. Agnes lived most of the rest of her life in Osceola County, Iowa. She was living in a care home in Sibley, Iowa in 1982 as she suffered from memory loss when she passed away.
