Albert L. Garrison, 74, of Muscatine died Saturday, April 1, 2006 at Unity Hospital. Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 5, 2006 at 1:30 p.m. at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services with Pastor Don Swanson of First Baptist Church officiating. Casketbearers will be Richard Bails, Dean Dusenberry, Jeff Dusenberry, Cody Dusenberry, Alex Holiday, Larry Dusenberry, Jr. and Michael Dusenberry. Burial will be in Fairport Cemetery. Visitation for Albert will be held on Tuesday, April 4, 2006 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services. Albert Lee was born September 30, 1931 in Iowa City, Iowa the son of Delbert A. and Nina (Gardner) Garrison. He served with the National Guard from 1949 to 1952.

Albert married Marjorie A. Hansen who preceded him in death in 1981. He married Elda who also preceded him in death and later married Lisa J. Dusenberry on December 28, 1988 in Muscatine.

He has been a resident of the Muscatine area since 1944 and was employed for 40 years at the Red Jacket Pump Company before retiring in 1992. Albert enjoyed his family, playing cards, and enjoyed taking part in pool and card tournaments with his friends.

Albert will be deeply missed by his wife, Lisa, of Letts; two step-sons, Rick Carlton of Muscatine and Jeremy Dusenberry of Letts; two step-daughters, Ruth Bridges of Muscatine and Leslie Ann Marie Peters of Letts; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Marjorie; his second wife, Elda; one son, Ricky Garrison; two step-daughters, Patricia Littrell and Elizabeth Emlet, and one sister, Juanita Stubbs.
