Martha Wray Shotwell Long, 81, of Roxboro, died Wednesday, December 12, 2018. Born in Person County, Mrs. Long was the daughter of the late Eugene Thomas and Lora Myrtle Turner Shotwell. Mrs. Long was a retired textile worker and a member of Ephesus Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sandra Wray Carver.
Mrs. Long is survived by her daughter, Sherre Macklemore and husband Steve, of Montana; her son, Rocky Carver and wife Tammy of Roxboro; one brother, Wayne Shotwell and wife Gai; two sisters, Annie Sue Carver, of Alton and Jean Chambers, of Roxboro; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held 11AM Friday, December 14, 2018, at Person Memorial Cemetery by the Rev. Herbert Brown.
