Regina Luebano Gutierrez was born in Tularosa, New Mexico on September 7, 1930. She peacefully entered heaven’s gate on December 7, 2018.
She was a devoted wife, loving mother, homemaker and excellent cook. She loved her rose garden. She was a proud lifetime member of the Alamogordo VFW Ladies’ Auxiliary #7686. One of her greatest personal achievements was attaining her GED at age 50 with a 4.0. She loved music and dancing. She was devout Catholic and her faith sustained her in her hour of need.
She was predeceased by her twin daughters, Julia and Regina, her sons, Edward and Miguel Jr. She is survived by her loving husband of over 70 years, Miguel (Mike), her daughters, Susan Conner and husband Michael, Josephine Lehman and her husband James, Catherine Korvig and her husband, Jan, Erlinda Hiles, sons, David Gutierrez and his wife Amy, Andres Gutierrez and his partner Pablo.
She was blessed and proud of her twenty grandchildren: Douglas (Wendy), Jennifer (Chris), Sean (Ashley), Lene' (Chris), Richard (Christie), Wesley (Jessica), Brad (Angela), Steven, Brian (Misty), Gina (Ray), Bonita (Josh), Joseph, Leah, Edward (Ana), Leanna (Corey), Krystal, Melissa, Andrea (Justin), Guy (Paula), Amber and 38 great grandchildren: Ethan, Mallory, London, Ashton, Kenzie, Charlie, Jack, Grace, Addie, Andrew, Alex, Nathan, Owen, Chloe, Tucker, Samantha, Paige, Jordyn, Cody, Gabriel, Cambria, Kaliyah, Christiana, Hazel, Molly, Jenna, Jack, Callista, Silas, Riddick, Flynn, Virgil, Maria, Tyler, George, Jason, Taylor, Kaleb and one great-great granddaughter, Sophia.
She will be waiting at heaven’s doorstep for her husband and soulmate to join her for one last dance.
