Cantwell, Roger E. Onalaska/Waunakee - Roger E. Cantwell, age 47, died on Thursday April 19, at his home in Onalaska, Wisconsin. He was born the son of William and Florence Cantwell in Madison on November 2, 1942. Roger was a 1961 graduate of Middleton High School. Roger was married to the former Charlotte Clayton on July 27, 1968. Mr. Cantwell had been in Dental Supply sales for the past several years, most recently he had been employed by Patterson Dental Company. Roger had been active in the Waunakee Youth Basketball Program while residing in Waunakee. An avid golfer, Mr. Cantwell was the golf coach at LaCrosse Aquinas High School. He is survived by his wife, Charlotte; two sons, Charles, age 21 and Andrew, age 17, all of Onalaska; his mother, Florence of Middleton; brothers Mike (Jeanette) of Madison, Jeff of Hilton Head, South Carolina, Steve (Kerry), Pat (Jeanne), and Edward, all of Middleton and Tom (SueEllan) of Sterling, Virgnia; a sister, Beverly of Middleton; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, William; a sister, Connie Jordee; a brother, Daniel, and a niece, Patty. Funeral services will be held at St. Bernard's Catholic Church, 7450 University Avenue, Middleton, at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 23, 1990, with Fr.Joseph P. Higgins officiating. Friends may call from 12:00 noon until 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 22, at the Gruber-Gunderson Funeral Home 7432 Elmwood Avenue, Middleton with the Parish Scripture Service to be held at 12:00 noon.
