Born July 26, 1936 at Robertsdale, PA, he was a son of the late Andrew & Mary (Benko) Lucas. He was united in marriage to the former Gertrude Flasher on September 5, 1959. Mrs. Lucas survives at their home.
He is also survived by two sons, Kelly Lucas of Huntingdon, PA and James Lucas and wife Sheryl of Shermansdale, PA, three grandsons, Brett, Andrew and Ethan Lucas, one great grandson, Rowan Xavier Lucas and six siblings, Anna Gracey of Robertsdale, PA, Margaret Wright of Camp Hill, PA, Susan Gracey of Robertsdale, PA, Paul Lucas of Broad Top, PA, Agnes Lucas of Robertsdale, PA and Elizabeth Zelanko of Broad Top, PA. One son, Andrew J. Lucas, one brother and five sisters preceded in death.
Mr. Lucas was a member of the Fairview Evangelical Church, RD, Three Springs, PA.
He was employed in bridge construction for most of his life retiring from Sanders Construction Company, Mt. Holly Springs, PA.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 15, 2018 at the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, 565 Ridgley St., Orbisonia, PA. Interment will be made at Fairview Cemetery, RD, Three Springs, PA. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
