Myrtle Mae Olsen Fonnesbeck Clark

Myrt grew up on a farm in Cache Valley Utah. Her parents were Edward and Ida Olsen. She met and married Reed Fonnesbeck from Logan in 1941 and had four children: Joan, Douglas, Jerry, and Tamara. Her family always was the most important part of her life. As a child (Myrt was my Aunt) I remember her cooking wonderful cakes, keeping her home sparkling and working part-time at a furniture store in Logan which I thought was pretty cool. They moved all over because of Reed's work.

Reed died in 1998. She was lonely and met a charming man, Samuel Clark, who brought sunshine back into her life. They married in Feb. 2001. Sam's illnesses took hold and he died in 2016.

Aunt Myrtle was very loyal to the Fonnesbeck Family reunions - she would attend to every one until her health prevented it. She had a sense of humor and wit that she held on to until the very last minute here. What a lady! will miss you, Aunt Myrtle.

Viewing at Allen-Hall Mortuary in Logan on Tuesday Dec. 18, 2018 and funeral at Noon on Wed. Dec. 19, 2018. Committal at Logan Cemetery afterwards, with Reed.
