Raymond Lee Cannon, 91 a resident of Fredericksburg, TX died April 3, 2018 of natural causes. Raymond was born December 24, 1926 in Hornersville, Missouri to Laura Ma Barnes and "Rue" Cannon. An only child, Raymond was raised in rural Kennett, MO where he married his childhood sweetheart Elaine Gibbs in 1947. Raymond was an active member of the US Army and served some duty overseas. He spent most of his career in sales, where he experienced great success. Raymond would say that his greatest achievement was his family.
Raymond Lee Cannon is survived by his three children, Gordon (Nancy) of Michigan, Shawn (Josephine) of Bandera and Lisa of Kerrville, 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Raymond was preceded in death by his loving wife Elaine Gibbs Cannon and infant son Keith. Raymond will be remembered by his family as being a good man who had a strong moral code, who was loved and respected by his family.

The service will be held at the Comfort Cemetery on North Creek Road on Friday, April 6, 2018 at 11:00 am.
