Date of service 16th March 1946, aged 50. Daughter of John Alfred Curran and Mary Elizabeth Clohesey.

Born Eileen Catherine Curran but for all other records she used the name of Eileen Kathleen. In 1916 she married George Clark who, from her divorce petition, appears to have been born in Ballarat in 1894. They had 3 children. In 1933 she filed for divorce on the grounds of her husband's desertion and habitual drunkenness. In the same year she married David Lyall Dexter. The BDM index for this marriage gives her name as Eileen Clare and Eileen Clarke. Both are incorrect. Her ex-husband's family name is spelt Clark in all records. The children adopted the family name of Dexter. I don't know what became of her first husband George Clark, he was known to use aliases. These families are now on the worldwide tree on the FamilySearch website.
