He was born April 16, 1930 in Adams County, WI the son of James H. and Adaha B. (Fennimore) Brewer. He married the former Lois Schumann on June 16, 1951 in Oshkosh. She preceded him in death on Sept. 13, 2003.
Barry attended Nordheim School in Oshkosh. Later, he served his country in the Army Air Corp.
Barry owned and operated Barry’s Auto Color and Supply in Oshkosh, along with his wife, Lois. Following retirement, they moved to their farm in Montello where they enjoyed being outdoors and gardening.
He is survived by one daughter, Leta (Ronald) Grahn, Oshkosh; two grandsons, Justin, Clovis, NM; and Ronald, Appleton; one sister, Mildred “Millie” (Roger) Boye, Oshkosh; and two special nieces, Bonnie (Dennis) Kluba, Hermansville, MI; and Mary (Joe) Farmer, Oshkosh. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Jeanette; and by seven brothers, Lawrence, Edward, John, George, Jake, Richard and Don.
Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel at Lake View Memorial Park in Oshkosh. Military honors will follow. The family will greet relatives and friends on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at Lake View Memorial Park.
