Services for Mrs. Rachel Patrick, 83, will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, December 15, 2018 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home with Rev. Eugene Brown and Rev. Justin Uselton officiating. Burial will be in the Wilhite Cemetery with Rev. Troy Patrick and Rev. Louis Bartet officiating under direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe, La.
Mrs. Patrick was born on Feb. 4, 1935 in Union Parish and passed away on Dec. 12, 2018 in Point, La surrounded by her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Allen Patrick; her parents Parish and Bessie Tidwell; her sister Peggy Tidwell and numerous relatives. Mrs. Patrick was a member of Rocky Branch Assembly of God Church and was a retired seamstress.
Mrs. Patrick is survived by her 6 children – James Marvin Patrick (Brenda); Kenneth Patrick (Robin); Sheryl Patrick Copeland (Rick); Rachel A. Patrick; Lonnie Patrick (Buffy); John Patrick (Kris). Brother – Marvin Eugene Tidwell (Jane); sister – Mary Frances McCutcheon; brother – Rev. Troy Patrick; sister – Barbara Butler; 13 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild; also survived by numerous relatives.
Grandsons will be pallbearers.
