Born December 1, 1931, in Unity, MD, Clarence was the son of the late Robert I. and Lucinda Watkins Windsor. He was preceded in death by his two sons, Ricky and Ron Windsor, and all of his siblings.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are his daughter Sue Shuler and husband, Barry, of Charleston, SC and his son Bob Windsor and wife, Kay, of Martinsburg, WV; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; four stepchildren, Thomas Evans Jr., Daniel Evans Sr., Cedonia Evans and Candice Evans Poska, and their spouses; eight stepgrandchildren; one stepgreat-grandson; and many friends.
Clarence was a member of Mt. Lebanon Fellowship Church, Damascus. He worked as a painter, wallpaperer, and maintenance man, most recently employed at Carroll Lutheran Village. He was a talented musician and enjoyed playing his guitar and singing gospel music.
The family will receive friends at Hartzler Funeral Home-Libertytown, 11802 Liberty Rd., Frederick on Friday, Nov. 9, from 5 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 10, from 11 a.m. to noon. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 12 p.m. The Rev. Donald Carpenter, his pastor, will officiate. Interment will follow in McKendree Cemetery, 14000 Frederick Rd., West Friendship.
