HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Her Funeral Service will be held Saturday, December 15, 2018 in Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Magnolia Cemetery.
Janice was born June 30, 1950 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of the late Barney Lee Fipps, Sr., and Hazel Hickman Fipps. She was a graduate of St. John's High School and was part owner of Bemco, Inc. She was a member of Deep River Church of God.
She is survived by her daughter, Janice Allison Jackson (Michael) of Charleston, SC; son, Jimmy Edwin Banks, II of Charleston, SC; two grandchildren, Hannah Grace Jackson, Joshua Alan Jackson; six sisters, Marie Susser, Travis Cook (James), Deborah Kinard (Ronnie), Barbara Bosc (Steven), Kim Carusa (Nick), Amy Garvin (James); three brothers, Barney Fipps, Jr., (Jeanette), Oral Fipps, Sr., (Michele), Karl Fipps, Sr., (Lydia).
