Peggy V. Myrick, age 96, passed away on Monday, December 10, 2018 at 1:40 am.

Peggy was born in Fayette County on January 17, 1922 to the late James and Frances Bowman Howard. She was a member of Gospel Mission Worship Center, the Red Hat Society, and was a retired hair dresser.
She will be remembered by those who loved her as someone who was always busy and into everything, always there when she was needed, and someone who dearly loved her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Nancy McIntosh and husband, J.D. of Benton; her three sons, Phillip Campbell and wife, Marty of Boaz, Gary Campbell and wife, Barbara of Paducah, and Bruce Campbell of Boaz; five grandchildren, Johnny Campbell (Wanda), Jodi Durard (Howie), Bridgetti Merrick (Trent), Angeli Sullivan (Dean), and Kendrick Campbell; ten great-grandchildren, D.J. Campbell, Lindee Hartsfield (Jake), Kara Dowdy (Marvin), Blake Housman (Erica), Tesa Con (Eddie), Cooper Merrick, Brooke Housman, Paige Merrick, Triston Campbell, and Chloe Campbell; and seven great-great-grandchildren, Jaycee Campbell, Kinlee Hartsfield, Landon Dowdy, Jaydon Dowdy, Addy Con, Jaydee Hartsfield, and Charleigh Housman.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Barbara Mullett and Dorothy Beard; and a great-grandson, Brynden Campbell.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Homes with Rev. Jim Greenwell officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the 12:00 pm service time on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Homes.
