Esther Joan Hall, age 85, of Byron Center, passed away on Wednesday, December 12, 2018, and is now in the presence of her Lord. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Stanley VanTuinen and Norman Hall; her daughter, Nancy Niewiadomski; sons, Douglas and James Hall; granddaughter, Michelle Hall; grandson, David Scott, Jr.; brothers, Robert, Edward and Donald. Esther will be lovingly remembered by her children, Gary (Alice) VanTuinen, Gayle (Paul) Kayser, Carol (Jerry) Coon, Marcia (Richard) Brubacher, Marilyn (Michael) Thompson, Scott Niewiadomski, Norma (David) Scott, Alan (Sue) Hall, Tina Petersen, Kevin (Marcy) Hall, Nancy (Randy) Walsh, Pat Hall, Cheryl Hall; 40 grandchildren; 69 great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Laura Key, Carol Key, Bernice Kornoelje; and brother-in-law, Clifford Carlon. The funeral service will be held at 11 am Saturday, December 15, at Good News Baptist Church, 6830 Eastern Ave. SE, with Rev. Brian Cederquist officiating. Interment will be in Pine Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lincoln Lake Baptist Youth Camp or Good News Baptist Church Building Fund. The family will greet visitors on Friday, December 14, from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 pm at Stroo Funeral Home.
