Prince Derrick T. James, Jr. of Tampa passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2018. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, December 15, at 2:00 p.m. at 34th Street Church of God, 3000 N. 34th Street, Reverend Thomas Scott, Pastor officiating. Interment will follow in Orange Hill Cemetery.
Derrick was a lifelong native of Tampa, Florida. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, James Dowling.
Life without our precious son will be hard, Derrick was our everything and we loved him dearly. We will always remember the precious amazing memories he has left to include: bath-time and watching Sponge Bob. He will be remembered as the happiest baby ever and it was a blessing to have him in our lives.
He leaves to cherish his precious memory: his parents, mother, Jaynecia Dowling and father, Derrick T.
