Norma Jean Webb went to her eternal home on December 9, 2018 and is survived by her husband of almost 68 years, Billy Bert Webb, six children, 17 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and two brothers. All know her as a kind, compassionate, forgiving angel with great devotion to her family, friends and belief in God and his son Jesus Christ.

Jean was born in Butler, Oklahoma, on October 4, 1929 to James Samuel Matthews and Maudie (Wofford) Matthews. She married her high school love, Bill, on Christmas Eve, December 24, 1950 at the United Methodist Church in Custer City, Oklahoma. During her lifetime, she lived in Custer, Ethiopia, Altus, Oklahoma, Manhattan, Kansas, Stillwater, Oklahoma, and Oklahoma City. While raising six children, Jean completed a pre-med and Medical Technology Degree. She worked as both a Medical Technologist and Lab Manager for over 20 years in Stillwater.

Jean and Bill were active members of Highland Park Methodist Church in Stillwater, Oklahoma, for over 30 years and Chapel Hill United Methodist Church in Oklahoma City for more than 15 years.

Jean had a long fulfilling life and made life more wonderful for all who knew her.

Jean’s survivors are her six children, Dr. Ted Webb and wife Judy of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Janette Moyer and husband Robert of Mustang, Oklahoma, Rick Webb and wife Jeannette of Custer City, Oklahoma, Rod Webb of Southern California, Dan Webb and wife Teresa of Yale, Oklahoma, and Jeane’ Redmond and husband Larry of Basehor, Kansas, and two brothers, Melvin Matthews and Gerald Matthews both of Oklahoma City.
