Ronda K. Jones of Baraboo passed away on Sunday, Nov. 19, 2017 at St. Clare Hospital at the age of 62. Ronda, daughter of Ronald and Dawn (Hinz) Jones was born Sept. 21, 1955. She graduated from Baraboo Senior High School and furthered her studies at Grand Rapids Bible College, Trinity Christian College and obtained her masters in teaching from UW Whitewater. Ronda started her working career as a Special Education teacher for the Wisconsin Dells High School before moving to Rockford and working for the Rockford Public Schools. While in the Dells she also advised wrestling cheerleaders and girls FCA. Upon her return to the Baraboo area Ronda worked for Jefferson Meadows and St. Clare Hospital. Later in life she was employed by Culvers of Baraboo and Walmart. In her free time she enjoyed knitting, reading, cooking, baking, and antiques. Ronda was an avid Packers and Badgers fan.
Survivors include her mother, Dawn; brother, James (Sara) Jones; sister, Jackie (Bob) Cox; nieces and nephew, Elly, Jenny, Joey, Christina, Samantha; aunt, uncles as well as other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Ronald; beloved Quincy; grandparents; aunt and uncles.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 25, 2017 at 1 p.m. at Walnut Hill Bible Church with Pastor Dan Gunderson officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 11 a.m. until the time of service. Inurnment will be held at a later date at Walnut Hill Cemetery next to her father. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.
