Ron's life will be celebrated with a Memorial service on June 4, 2018, at 11:00 AM at Fielder Road Church in Arlington, Texas.
Ron loved people and never met a stranger. He loved sports and singing in the Fielder Road church choir and Senior choir.
Ron was born on March 17, 1935 in Harlingen, Texas to Dorothy Elizabeth Rogers and Owen Miley. He lived his life as an only child until he gained eight brothers, a sister, and numerous nieces and nephews when he married Nina Chappell 54 years ago. Ron is survived by his wife Nina and son Jonathon, as well as three of the eight brothers: Robert Chappell, wife, Jean, Harmon Chappell, wife Sharon, and Glenn Chappell, wife Margie. He is also survived by cousins from the Rogers side; Belinda Bullard Burkholder, Tommy Lee Bullard, Jr, Laura Jean Bullard Stevens and Billy Joe (Joey) Rogers.
Ron will be greatly missed by his family and numerous friends.
