Earl C. "Buster" Cordell, 48, of Route 2, Box 316, Princeton, died Sunday, May 20, 2007, at his residence.

Born Sept. 15, 1958 in Princeton, he was the son of the late Ralph and Nannie "Freda" Nipper Cordell. He was a former member of the WV Army National Guard.

In addition to his parents, his maternal grandparents, Charles and Senia Nipper; his paternal grandparents, Susan and Jess Cordell; and half sister, Barbara Anderson preceded him in death.

Survivors include two sisters, Nellie Perdue and husband Chuck of Prattville, Ala. and Susan Taylor and husband Robert of Princeton; three brothers, Floyd Simpkins and wife Dorothy, Cleo Farmer and wife Linda all of Princeton, and Delbert Farmer and wife Debbie of Prattville, Ala.; two special aunts, Vera Cordell and Nellie R. Gonzin both of Princeton; and two special cousins and best friends, JoAnne Gonzin and Vincent "Jay" Gonzin both of Princeton.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 25, 2007 at the George W. Seaver Chapel of Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton with the Rev. Dennis Saunders officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Park Cemetery in Princeton. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. today.
