REV. DR. PAUL E. STEELE, 85, passed away Monday, Dec. 10, 2018, at Heritage Pointe of Fort Wayne. Born in South Bend, Ind., he was a son of the late Floyd and Bertha Steele.
He was a Pastor with the United Methodist Church for 39 years, serving various towns in northern Indiana, including Bethany United Methodist Church of Fort Wayne, retiring in 1995.
He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer (Rob) Guebard of Fort Wayne; brothers, Phillip (Marianna) Steele and Robert (Diann) Steele; half brother, Conrad Keller; grandchildren, Joanna Guebard, Katy Guebard, Libby Guebard, and Paul Steele; and daughter-in-law, Susan Steele.
Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Diana M. Steele; son, Richard Steele; and sister, Martha Dewey.
Funeral service 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, 2018, at Saint Joseph United Methodist Church, 6004 Reed Road, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior.
