Elizabeth "Betty" Martinez, 71, a native of Vacherie, Louisiana and resident of Thibodaux, Louisiana passed away on December 10, 2018.
A visitation will be held in her honor from 8:30 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, at St. Lawrence the Martyr Catholic Church in Kraemer. Burial will follow in St. Lawrence Martyr Cemetery in Kraemer.
She is survived by her loving husband, Jerral J. Martinez; children, Jerry Martinez (Gwen), Jill Cavalier, and Jenny Babin (Jade); grandchildren, Blade and Brooke Martinez, Chelsey, Cassie, and Chase Cavalier, Jadyn, Jackson, and Jansen Babin; siblings, Larry, Richard, Leroy, Randy, Ronald, and Lynn, Jr. Gravois.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lynn and Lizzie Gravois, Sr.; siblings, Marie Thibodaux, and Roland and Martin Gravois.
The family would like to thank the staff of Thibodaux Regional Cancer Center and Journey Hospice for their special care of Mrs. Betty.
