Thomas Larkin Harris was with Company F. 12 consolidated regiment. He enlisted at Trenton, Tennessee.
In a 2002 article in the McKenzie Banner Online it says Thomas Larkin Harris was killed at the Battle of Shiloh and buried in a mass confederate grave. There are approximately 700 soldiers buried 7 layers deep, 100 to a row, one on top of another.
According to the U.S. Veterans Gravesites, ca.1775-2006, Thomas Larkin Harris was a Private in the Confederate States Army and he received a memorial which is located in the Harris Memorial Cemetery in McKenzie, TN. I believe the memorial in Harris Cemetery is simply that, a memorial to mark his memory while his body lies in the mass grave at Shiloh.
