Shirley E. (Tarr) Bennett, 92, of Kittanning, passed away Monday, July 11, 2022 at Country Manor Personal Care Home. She was born June 14, 1930 in Kittanning to the late Raymond and Ruth Tarr. Shirley attended the First Baptist Church in Ford City. She enjoyed gardening. Shirley is survived by her daughter Holly Bennett of Freeport; 4 grandsons Brian (Heather) Campbell of Farmersburg, Indiana, Bradley (Sarah) Shupe of Winona Lake, Indiana, Doug (Debbie) Shupe of Portland, Oregon, and Terry (Marilyn) Shupe of St. Petersburg, Florida; 10 grandchildren Caleb Shupe, Hannah Shupe, Timothy Shupe, Shelby Shupe, Tyler Hively, Sean Hively, Anthony Hively, Brendan Campbell, Isaac Shupe, and Asher Shupe. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Dean Bennett; daughter Diana Bennett-Shupe; brother Jacob Tarr. A memorial service will be held for Shirleyon Monday, July 25, 2022 at 11:00 am in the First Baptist Church in Ford City. Arrangements are under the care of the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Kittanning. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Shirley's honor to the Orphans of the Storm Animal Shelter in Kittanning.
