Richard Morris Daniel was born on April 25th, 1935 and grew up on his family's farm in Belmont on the outskirts of Lincoln. At the age of 17 he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force where he proudly served his country for 8 years. He led a long full life as a loving and supportive husband, father, and grandfather. Richard passed away peacefully on December 9th, 2018 and is survived by his wife Mary, 6 children, and many grandchildren. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
Services to be held Friday December 14th 3:00pm at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home followed by military honors. Reception afterwards at Sumner Place Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation. Memorials to Lincoln Literacy (lincolnliteracy.org).
