Mr. Alfred B. Green, age 87, of Shady Lane Home, Manitowoc, died early Thursday morning, September 30, 1993, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc. Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, October 1, 1993, at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home. Rev. Richard Miller will officiate with creamation [sic] following.
He was born February 2, 1906, at Manitowoc, son of the late Edward and Josephine Romelfanger Green. He attended Lincoln High School in Manitowoc. He was a sales representative for Purina Company for many years. He married Anne E. Ladwig September 19, 1927, at Manitowoc. She preceded him in death July 14, 1979. He was a member of Redeemer Lutheran and also past member of the Golden Kiwanis Club of Manitowoc.
Survivors include 3 sisters-in-law, Corletta Green, Antigo, Mildred Rusch, Manitowoc, Helen Carefoot, California; nieces, nephews, along with other relatives and friends survive. He was preceded in death by his wife Anne Green in 1979, three brothers and three sisters.
