He was born February 2, 1906, at Manitowoc, son of the late Edward and Josephine Romelfanger Green. He attended Lincoln High School in Manitowoc. He was a sales representative for Purina Company for many years. He married Anne E. Ladwig September 19, 1927, at Manitowoc. She preceded him in death July 14, 1979. He was a member of Redeemer Lutheran and also past member of the Golden Kiwanis Club of Manitowoc.
Survivors include 3 sisters-in-law, Corletta Green, Antigo, Mildred Rusch, Manitowoc, Helen Carefoot, California; nieces, nephews, along with other relatives and friends survive. He was preceded in death by his wife Anne Green in 1979, three brothers and three sisters.
