Harry Thomas Brewer passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Dec. 7, 2018.

Harry was a graduate of Central High School. After winning the Golden Glove Trophy, he became a semi-pro boxer. He joined the Ohio National Guard and rose to the rank of lieutenant. His career in law enforcement began with the Ohio State Highway Patrol and concluded with his retirement from the Fairlawn Police Department where he served as the president of FOP Lodge 131. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing, hunting and camping.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harrison and Marian Brewer and sister and brother-in-law, Mary Ann and John Braswell. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Pamela Brewer; children, Christopher (Beckie) and Kelly (Lance) Morris; grandchildren, Kaitlinn (Ned) Dibner, Joshua Brewer, Max and Ali Morris; sister, Connie (Chris) Crace; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Special thanks to Western Reserve Hospital, Dr. Clayton Seiple, and the amazing staff of Crossroads Hospice and Palliative Care.

Services will be held 11 a.m. Friday at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., with Fr. Michael B. Smith officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Interment at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Crossroads Hospice, 3743 Boettler Oaks Dr., Suite E, Green, OH 44685.
