Born December 17, 1923 in Carlisle, WV, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Estelle Lyerly Freeman.
A 1942 graduate of Dubois High School, she was a member of Concord Baptist Church and worked as a cook.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Charles II and David Freeman; and sister, Virginia Freeman Moore.
Those left to cherish precious memories are her sister, Alma Freeman Fleming of Mt. Hope and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
As per her request, she was cremated.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
