Priscilla Bogen Waltke-Miller, age 90, of Colon, passed away late Sunday evening, Dec. 9, 2018. at her home.
She was born May 24, 1928. in Dearborn, a daughter of the late John J. and Rose (Bogen) Smith.
Priscilla resided in Colon for the past 16 years, coming from Sturgis, where she lived most of her life and was a graduate of Sturgis High School with the class of 1946.
On April 2, 1949, she married Eldred Lee Waltke in LaGrange, Ind. He died Dec. 27, 2001. On Oct. 11, 2006, she married Wilfred Miller in Shipshewana, Ind.
Priscilla retired from Kool Chevrolet in Sturgis following several years of dedicated employment in the parts department. She also had worked at Royer Ford and Constantine Auto Supply, both in Constantine.
She was an active member and held several offices in Historical Auto Association of Michigan and was a member of Sturgis Historical Society. She had a true love and appreciation for antique automobiles.
She is survived by two sons, Larry (Gloria) Waltke of White Pigeon and Dennis (Ann) Waltke of Sturgis; four grandchildren, Khari (Mike) Clements of Constantine, Marcus Waltke of Constantine, Dustin (Anne) Waltke of Nashville, Tenn., and Schyler Waltke of Sturgis; four great-grandchildren, Hannah Waltke, Victoria Clements, Colton Clements and Oliver Clements; a stepdaughter, Karen (Wayne) Miller of Union City; a stepson, Gary (Cathy) Miller of Colon; and several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday and 10-10:45 a.m. Thursday at Hackman Chapel of Hackman Family Funeral Homes, 114 S. Nottawa St., Sturgis. The Rev. George Cleverley of Sturgis Church of Christ will officiate. A graveside committal will follow the service at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Sturgis.
