Kathy Jean Payne, age 67, of Portage, IN, passed away on Saturday, December 8, 2018. She was born on October 11, 1951 in Henderson, KY to Homer and Betty Jean (Price) Taylor.

Kathy is survived by loving husband of 46 years, Robert "Bob" Payne; son, David (Joann) Payne; daughter, Michelle Payne; brothers, Dennis Taylor and Jeffrey (Nancy) Taylor; sister-in-law, Nancy Taylor; grandchildren, Sabrina, Kevin, Seth, Brittney, Noah, Jake and Owen.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, David Taylor, Ronald Taylor and Lloyd Taylor.

Kathy enjoyed oil painting and knitting for family and friends. She was not only a doula for her beloved Pomeranians, but also for those close to her. She aided in the births of children for numerous women in her life.

Kathy was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was devoted to serving her friends, family and God Almighty.
