The daughter of Nolan and Edna Gelene (Smith) Castleberry was born on January 2, 1943 in Oakland California.
Janet loved taking care of her family, collecting Santas and turtles, and she enjoyed embroidery work and quilting. Janet had her own space on the front porch where she enjoyed doing word find puzzles, watching birds and visiting. Janet was a loving wife, mother and sister. She was Nanna.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Charles Don Castleberry; and a sister, Brenda Gail (Castleberry) Freeman.
Janet is survived by her husband of 57 years, David F. Anderson of Bass; a son, James David Anderson (Sheila) of Little Rock, Arkansas; daughters, Nancy Anderson of Yuba City, California; Babe Anderson of Bass, Arkansas; Sarah Anderson of Bass, Arkansas; sister Letricia Ann Campbell (Jim) of San Pablo, California; 10 grandchildren, Autumn Loftis, Amanda Loftis, Colter Loftis, Kristy Jo Carter, Cody Anderson. Sierra Anderson-Coldiron, Chase Anderson, Chelsey Anne Hogan, Marcus Criner, and Olivia Stone; 7 great grandchildren, Aaron McGee, Selene Carter, Sydnee Carter, Lorelei Anderson, and Charlie D. Anderson; a cousin Eric Krause of Beaver Dam, Wisconsin and many other family and friends who will mourn his passing.
A memorial visitation will be held Wednesday December 19, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Jasper.
Honorary Pallbearers are David M Stambeck, Randy Hawthorne, Eric Krause, Colter Loftis, Cody Anderson, Marcus Criner, and Chase Anderson.
