She was born in Plymouth to the late Red and Susan Mae Craigo Lewis. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Evelyn Lucas.
Diane was a retired nurse with Hospice for over 17 years. She attended Perrow Presbyterian Church, Cross Lanes, a graduate of Poca High School and Nursing School in Arkansas.
She is survived by her husband, Jim Walker; sons, Michael Lee Walker (Erin)of Sanford, NC and Brian Walker (Julie) of Marietta, Ohio; sister, Elizabeth Lewis (Jack) of Red House; brothers, Jerry Lewis (Retta) of Buffalo and Roger Lewis (Barbara) of Paradise. Also surviving at 9 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Bartlett-Chapman Funeral Home, St. Albans with Chaplin Pete Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery, Institute.
Friends may call one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.
