Born in Williston, SC, she was a daughter of the late Charlie Hubert Porter and Lenamyer Porter Porter. She was a member of Rosemary Baptist Church where she sang in the church choir and taught the Senior Adult Sunday School Class for many years. June worked for 20 years at Milliken Corporation and retired from Ameritron-Barwick as a spinner .
Survivors include her sisters Barbara P. (Cecil) Berry, Linda P. Cobb all of Williston; nieces Cindy B. Johnson, J. C. Berry, III, Daniel R. (Paulette) Bolen, Linda Claytor, Donna Lynn Porter, Carol (Ronnie) Brown, Ann (Jimmy) Kellet, sister-in-law Barbara Porter; a number of great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by brothers George Porter and Charlie Porter.
