Besides his mother he leaves his beloved companion Susan Vallee; his daughter Ashley Peixoto and husband Jeff and grandsons Dylan and Jacob Peixoto; his son Michael Holland and granddaughter Bella Rose. He also leaves his sisters, Cynthia Hassell and husband Scott of South Kingstown, Robin Coyle and husband Patrick of Myrtle Beach, SC and Melissa Fenner and her husband Arthur (Bud) of Wallingford, CT; brothers, Raymond Jr. and his wife Marion of Wickford, Theodore (Rocky) of Narragansett, Shawn of Narragansett, Jason and his wife Andrea of Charlestown.
Mark served with the military police, RI National Guard for 6 years. He worked for Patterson Construction of Fredericksburg, VA as a pipe-fitter installing water towers throughout the south and as far as Jamaica. He was respected, loved and remembered by those who worked with him long after he retired because of illness.
His remains shall be placed next to his father in New Fernwood Cemetery on Thursday, December 13 at 11:00 a.m. with a graveside service led by his brother in law, Minister Bud Fenner. A celebration of life will follow at noon at the South County Church of Christ, 3510 Tower Hill Rd, South Kingstown where Mark was baptized and worshiped the Lord.
In lieu of flowers, donations may go to South County Hospital Cancer Center.
