BLUFF CITY - Mr. Danny Stanley, 66, of Bluff City, passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at his residence.

He was born in Williamson, WV but lived most of his life in Canada, Pike County, Kentucky. Danny was a son of the late Willie W. and Ethel Mae Davis Stanley.

He moved to Tennessee in 1999.

Danny loved working on cars, especially Mustangs. He ran an automotive repair shop up until 2016 when his health forced him to retire.

Danny was a member of the River of Life Baptist Church in Piney Flats. He loved to worship and praise his Lord. He truly loved his savior Jesus Christ.

In addition to his parents, two brothers, Jerry and Clifton preceded him in death.

Survivors include: his wife of fifteen years, Pattie Bowman Stanley; four brothers, Ronald Stanley, Jim Stanley, Michael Stanley and Rick Stanley; four sisters, Barbara Born, Brenda Long, Linda Trout and Kathy Steele; three children, Steven Stanley, Randal Stanley and Donna Hicks; two step children, April Jenkins and Jessica Jones; thirteen grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

There will be a graveside service on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 11:00 am at the New Bethel Cemetery in Piney Flats under the direction of Bro. Donnie Humphrey and Bro. Bud Malone. Active pallbearers will be: Jimmy Stanley, Michael Stanley, Benny Long, Steven Stanley, Rick Stanley, Ronald Stanley, Allan Hicks and Matt Jenkins. Alternate pallbearers will be: Timmy Stanley, Austin Stanley and Nick Stanley. Those attending the service are asked to assemble at the cemetery by 10:45 am.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials are made to River of Life Baptist Church, 823 N. Austin Springs Road, Piney Flats, TN 37686.
