SANFORD, Maine - Mildred L. Cummings, 86, died on Tuesday May 14, 2013 in the Greenwood Center. She was born on July 9, 1926 in York, Maine, a daughter of the late Elmer and Rachel (Patch) Cummings. Mildred worked as a dietary aid for 37 years at the Harbor Home in York Harbor. She is survived by her sister Marion Brooks of Milo, Maine; also several nieces and nephews including her niece, Donna and husband Greg Walcott and their daughter Heidi of Sanford, Maine.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, May 17 in the First Parish Cemetery, 180 York St., York, Maine. Donations may be made to Greenwood Center "Activities Fund," 1142 Main St., Sanford, Maine. Lucas & Eaton Funeral Home, 91 Long Sands Rd., York, Maine is directing arrangements.
