Ginger Diane Hamilton, “Nana” to the grandkids, 63, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, opened her eyes in the presence of Jesus, on Friday, December 7, 2018. Ginger was born in Chillicothe, Ohio to Delores Jean and Alvie Odell Ross, May 15, 1955.

Ginger and her brother, Bruce, grew up in Oklahoma. She graduated from Eisenhower High School in Lawton in 1974. It was during that time she met John Austin Sadler. The couple dated, got married, and had two amazing kids, Nikki and John. A few years later Ginger was blessed yet again with her three stepchildren, Mike, Tim and Kristi when she married Ron Paul.

Family meant a great deal to Ginger. Above family, having a relationship with Jesus and her Christian faith is what she valued most in her heart. She accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior when she was eight years old. There were many times when she would comment “How can someone see all this and not believe God is real?”, referring to God’s creation. When the grandkids were little, at sunset she would pick them up, hold them high, point to the west and with a majestic exclamation say, “Let’s see what God has painted for us tonight.” And she would point out the different colors of the sunset to the kids.

Now do not be misled. Ginger wasn’t sweet and precious all the time. She was one of the most stubborn and head-strong people you would have ever met in your life. She could be wrong about something, plain as day, but would never admit to it. Once her mind was made up about something, there was no changing it or going back. Her feet were firmly planted. BUT, that’s the beautiful part about having a relationship with Jesus. He knows we have many imperfections and that we are going to keep messing up, and with all that Jesus forgives us and loves us anyways. Rest assured, Ginger is in heaven, her eternal home, right now as we speak.

She is at last reunited with her daddy that she missed terribly since 2001, along with her grandparents, “Pops” and “Granny Grunt”, Aunt Reta, Uncle Archie, Casey, Aunt Betty and the list of loved ones goes on.

Ginger will be greatly missed by her mother, Jean Ross; brother, Bruce Ross; husband, Devin Hamilton; her kids and spouses, Nikki and husband, Russell Beachler and John Ross and wife, Loni Sadler; step-children, Mike Paul, Tim Paul and Kristi Robare; grandchildren, Halena Beachler and fiancée, Joshua Cox, Tyce Beachler, John Taylor and Jessie Sadler; step-grandchildren, Alyssa Robare, Ashley Paul, Mike & Stephanie Paul; great-grandson, Jaxton Cox; nephew, Damon and wife Anna Ross; nephew Cody Ross; nephew David Ross and wife Lori countless cousins.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Primrose Funeral Service Chapel, 1109 North Porter in Norman, Oklahoma at 11 AM with her final resting place to follow at Sunset Memorial Cemetery
