Lawrence Leyenberger Rowe, 89, of Londonderry Village and formerly of Hershey, passed away on December 4, 2018. He was born January 27, 1929 in Reading, PA, son of the late Marcus and Leslie (Laurence) Rowe.

Lawrence was a graduate of St Joseph's University and received his Master's Degree from Lehigh University. After a full career in the Hershey candy industry, Larry retired as Director of Production for the H.B. Reese Candy Company. He also was a proud WWII Navy Veteran. Larry was a member of the Derry Presbyterian Church, past member of the Lions Club, Hershey Volunteer Fire Company, Boys Scouts of America, an avid outdoorsman (fishing, hunting), and a world traveler. Most importantly, he dedicated his life to his wife of 64 years, family and friends.

Surviving are his children: Valerie L. Rowe of Hershey, Cynthia R. (Robert) Breckenridge of Idaho Falls, ID, L. Randolph (Cheryl) Rowe and Glenn C. (Teresa) Rowe both of Hershey; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Olga; sister, Marguerite McCaffrey and brothers, Joseph and J. Randolph Rowe.

Memorial service and interment at the Hershey Cemetery will be held at a future date.
