Gloria Jean Pierce, 77, of Princeton, formerly of Cambridge passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at the Maple Grove Hospital.


She was born on April 5, 1941 in Minneapolis, MN, one of 12 children to Douglas and Olga (Hanson) Armstrong. Gloria grew up in Minneapolis and attended Minneapolis Johnson High School.


On Memorial Day of 1968, she was united in marriage to Everett Pierce and they made their home in Minneapolis. In October 1977 they moved to Cambridge. Gloria was a stay at home mom and raised their three boys. They lived many years in Cambridge. After Everett passed away Gloria sold their home and moved to Princeton. She remained there until her passing.


She enjoyed playing bingo, going to the hairdresser to get her hair done.


She was preceded in death by her parents Douglas and Olga Armstrong, husband Everett in April 2012.


Gloria is survived by her sons John Pierce, Joe Pierce and Jay (Melanie) Pierce, grandchildren Courtney Wilson, Samantha (Gabriel) Barse, Mariah Mies, Samantha (Nathan) Calderon, and Mark Gese, five great grandchildren, as well as other relatives and friends.
