On June 26, 1965, she was united in marriage to Melvin R. Cox. The couple made their home in Lincoln before moving to Bennet in 1990. Lynda was employed by the Isaac Walton League as a manager. She was also employed by the Bennet CO-OP which is now Casey's.
Lynda enjoyed her lovebirds and cockatiels. She enjoyed puzzles and her little poodle "Pixy".
She was preceded in death by her parents; infant son, Melvin R. Cox, Jr.; brother-in-law, Harold Berry; sister-in-law, Margaret Ike and nephew, Dean Berry.
Lynda is survived by her husband, Melvin R. Cox of Bennet, NE; two sons, Troy D. Cox of Lincoln, NE and Gregory A. Cox of Bennet, NE; sister, Patricia Berry of Oberlin, KS; and brother, George Ike, Jr. of Lincoln, NE.
