Debbie graduated from Charleston High School and Morris Harvey College (UC) School of Nursing with a degree as a Registered Nurse. She also attended WVU. "Dr. Debbie," as she was fondly referred to by her friends, was a certified Orthopedic Nurse who worked with Dr. Louis Liomil for 31 years. She also worked on 5 South, CAMC General Division. She attended Morris Memorial United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, William M. "Mickey" Knowles Jr. of Charleston; brother, Greg Brown (Diana) of South Charleston; brothers-in-law, Keith Knowles (Judy) of Charleston, Rocky Stimele of Fort Myers, Fla.; sister-in-law, Linda Hudson (David) of St Clairsville, Ohio; nieces, Cassie Stimele of Fort Myers, Fla., Shannon Stimele and husband Robert Thomas of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Bethany Hall (Brent); nephews, Devin and Jarrod Knowles, all of Charleston, Zachery (Annie) Hudson and Seth (Deena) Hudson, all of Washington, D.C.; and last, but not least, her sweet doggy, Abby Jo.
Debbie's wishes were to be cremated and interned at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens.
