Johnny Eugene Allen passed away October 12, 2018 at his home in Logan, Utah. He was born on September 14, 1966 in Santa Maria, CA. He graduated from Preston High School in 1984, lettering in Football, Soccer, Cross Country, Band & Drama/Speech. He is survived by his sons, Skyler (Rachel), Jordan (Kansas) & Taylor (Kensie) from his marriage to Trissa Schvaneveldt, later divorced; his daughter, Megan, from his marriage to Dion (Charlie) Hales, later divorced; his son, Jeremy (Pierce); his mother, Sally Terreault; his brother, Ron Allen; his former spouse, Denise Kendrick & 8 grandchildren. Johnny worked as a welder for Logan Coach & Baer Welding. He then worked at Herff Jones for 23 years in the camera arts department, the press room & the maintenance department. Johnny was a hard worker who took a lot of pride in his job & loved the people he worked with. He loved camping, fishing & riding dirtbikes/4-wheelers. Johnny had a larger-than-life personality & would have all those around him laughing uncontrollably. Though he tried to hide it, he had a huge heart & loved his family & friends dearly. He was one of a kind & will be sorely missed by those of us who loved him.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Nyman Funeral Home. As Johnny’s wish was to be cremated, a “Celebration of Life” will be held at Nyman Funeral Home, located at 753 South 100 East in Logan, on Thursday, October 18, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 PM.
