Larry C. "Rabbit" Rhodes, age 75, of Sweetwater, passed away on Friday, December 7, 2018.
He was a member of Browder Memorial Methodist Church in Sweetwater.
He was the owner and operator of the former Rhodes Nursery and Landscaping in Sweetwater.
A veteran of the Vietnam War having served as a medic in the U.S. Army.
Preceded in death by his parents: Rex and Mary Etta Rhodes Sr., brothers: Rex Rhodes Jr., and Charles Wesley Rhodes, brother-in-law: W.E. Sloan, great-nephew: Tyler Plemons.
Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law: Tim and Teresa Rhodes, of Charlotte, N.C., Mark and Teresa Rhodes, of Sweetwater, daughter and son-in-law: Mindee and Daniel Albright, of Sweetwater, grandchildren: Tryston, Jaycob, Zaggy, Ben and Ashley. Sisters: Janette Sloan, of Sweetwater, Tonya and Ben Walden, of Waynesboro, GA., Several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Monday, December 10, 2018 at Kyker Funeral Homes, Sweetwater, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. with the funeral service to follow at 8:00 P.M. in Kyker's Chapel with Dr. Frank Crawford officiating.
Interment 9:00 A.M. on Tuesday in the Sweetwater Memorial Park with full military honors. Kyker Funeral Homes, Sweetwater, in charge of arrangements.
