On December 2, 2018 an Angel was dispatched to call into eternal rest the soul of a faithful and dedicated servant. Johnny Bernard Lawrence, Sr., 72, succumbed to a hard-fought battle with lung cancer. He retired after twenty-eight years from the Oklahoma Department of Transportation and dedicated a total of thirty-two years to the U.S. Army and the Army National Guard.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of fifteen years Tisa Lawrence, twelve children, one daughter-in-law, thirty-two grandchildren and thirty-three great-grandchildren.
