OBITUARY

Isaac Melvin Bridgeman (Ike) was born in Versailles IL, to Blanche and Harvey Bridgeman on January 22, 1935, he was preceded in death by both parents, sisters Irene and Marie and brother Earl. Ike received his wings on September 8, 2018 in Niceville FL. He peacefully passed surrounded by his loved ones. He was wed to Marilyn June Ballard, his loving wife of 56 years, in Streator, IL on June 8th, 1962. Ike is survived by his wife June, their four children Tammy Jo Stevens (Joe), Isaac Scott Bridgeman (Malia), Laurie Ann Kirk, and Steven Bradley Bridgeman (Anna) and his brother Donald Ray (Shirley). He had eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and many loving nieces and nephews. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend.

Ike retired from Peoria Blacktop and was a proud member of Teamster’s Local 627. He will be greatly missed by all. We would like to thank all of the family for all of their support and kindness during his last days.
