Obituary for Randall Steven Looney
Randall Steven Looney, 29 years of age of Maxie, VA, passed away Thursday, December 6, 2018 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born January 24, 1989 in Richlands, VA, he was the son of Rosetta McCoy of Maxie, VA, and the late Mark Steve Looney.
Steven was a graduate of Grundy Senior High School, an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and especially spending time with the joy of his life, his daughter Paislee Reece Looney. He was an employee of Black Jewell Coal Company having worked at Dominion #18. A loving son, husband, father, brother friend.
In addition to his father he was preceded in death by an infant sister: Tonya McCoy, maternal grandparents Louise and Junior Stiltner, paternal grandfather Clarence Randall Looney.
Survivors in addition to his mother Rosetta McCoy of Maxie, VA, include his loving wife of six years Brittney Dawn Lester Looney of Maxie, VA; daughter Paislee Reece Looney of the home; paternal grandmother Pauline Looney of Maxie, VA; sister Sandra Coleman and husband Darrell of Haysi, VA; brothers Bryan Looney and wife Trenia of Harman, VA, James McCoy of Richlands, VA, Jessie Charles of Big Rock, VA, Rickey McCoy of Jolo, WV.
He was also survived by several nieces, nephews and a host of extended family members and friends.
Funeral service for Randall Steven Looney will be held at the Harman Memorial Baptist Church of Harman, VA, Monday, December 10, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Shea Shrader officiating. Burial will follow in the Mountain Valley Memorial Park, Big Rock, VA.
