Marshall B. Roberts, age 80, of Cadiz, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, December 6, 2018, at Baptist Health Paducah. Marshall was born April 26, 1938, in Canton, Kentucky, to Malcolm R. and Ruby Braboy Roberts. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1959 and was stationed in Baumholder, Germany. After his service, he continued his education, (need to include Michigan State info first for his bachelors degree) then earning a Master's degree from Wayne State University. He worked in the telecommunication software industry and founded Stonehouse & Company in Dallas, Texas, in 1980, where he remained for several years. In 1999, Marshall returned to Trigg County where he, along with his brothers and sister, developed Malcolm's Point and eventually purchased Arrowhead Golf Course.

He is survived by his wife, Jacquelyn "Jackie" Roberts of Cadiz; a son, Douglas B. (Sheri) Roberts of Atlanta, Georgia; a daughter, Leslie Ann Roberts (Mark) of Franklin, Tennessee; two grandchildren, Molly Grace Roberts and Jacob Mark Roberts; two brothers, Ken (Sandy) Roberts of Plainview, Indiana, and Jerry (Bobbie) Roberts of Premium Point, New York; and a sister, Patsy (David) De Sandre of Sterling Heights, Michigan

He was preceeded in death by his parents, Malcolm R. and Ruby Braboy Roberts.

Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main Street in Cadiz , where the family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service time of 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 with John Mark Vinson as Eulogist. Burial will follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens in Hopkinsville, KY
