Surviving daughters, Mrs. Eva Salvador, Miss Ruth Cartee, Gadsden, Mrs. Violet Bobo, Atlanta, Mrs. Louis Sliskey, New Orleans; stepdaughters, Mrs. Lottie Deese, Gadsden, Mrs. Virginia Roepke, Birmingham, Mrs. Bell Bright, Chattanooga, sons, T.R. Cartee, Ohio, L.C. Cartee, Whitney, Curtis Cartee, New Orleans, brother, Ludy Bailey, Chattanooga, sister, Mrs. Ethel Williams, GA, 30 grandchildren and 45 great-grandchildren. She was a native of Georgia and an Etowah County resident the past 15 years. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. Collier-Butler Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
