Professional wrestler. Born Lawrence Henry Hennig Jr. Trained under Verne Gagne and debuted in 1961. His run in AWA was his most successful, capturing the AWA World Tag Team Championship three times with Harley Race between 1965-1966. In his latter career, Hennig teamed with his son Curt to capture the NWA Pacific Northwest Tag Team Championship before retiring in 1985. Henning passed away from renal failure at the age of 82.
